Privacy policy
This page covers puertovallartapointer.com. I keep it short on purpose: what the site collects, which cookies show up, and how to ask for your data.
Information we collect
Puerto Vallarta Pointer does not ask you to create an account, and it does not take bookings. The server host (Cloudflare) records standard request logs such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, so the site can stay online and block abuse. I do not sell personal information.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links, including Agoda (partner cid 1979058) and programmes reached through Travelpayouts, such as Booking.com. Other partners that may appear include Klook, Tiqets, GetYourGuide and similar booking sites. If you book after clicking, the platform may pay this site a commission. That commission does not change the price you pay. The booking contract is between you and that platform. See the affiliate disclosure.
Cookies
Google Analytics 4 sets its own cookies, commonly named _ga, so it can tell a returning browser from a new one. I use that to see which guides get read. I do not sell that data, and advertising storage is denied, so those cookies are not used to build an ads profile.
When you click an Agoda or Travelpayouts link, that company may set its own cookies to record the referral. Those cookies belong to them, under their privacy policy.
Google Analytics 4
This site loads Google Analytics 4 on every page. The measurement ID is G-J9CLFSRZRE. It receives standard analytics: pages viewed, browser and device type, and a coarse location derived from the IP address. The tag runs with analytics storage allowed and advertising storage denied (ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are denied). A click on an Agoda link or another affiliate link sends an affiliate_click event to the same property, with the partner name, the page, and the link.
Your data rights
You can ask what personal data this site holds about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, or object to processing. This site does not run accounts. What I can reach directly is limited to host logs held by Cloudflare. Analytics data held by Google follows Google's retention, and I cannot delete a cookie that is already in your browser. You can block or clear cookies yourself.

There is no public email address for this site yet. Privacy requests and corrections are listed on the contact page, and they will be answered once an inbox is published. Please do not send passport scans or payment details.
