Affiliate disclosure
The short version
Puerto Vallarta Pointer is free to read. I fund it with affiliate links. When you book a hotel or an activity through a link on this site, I may earn a commission from the booking platform, and it costs you nothing extra.
Who I work with
Hotel buttons go to Agoda with this site's partner id (cid 1979058). Some other programmes, including Booking.com, are linked through Travelpayouts. You may also see Klook, Tiqets, GetYourGuide and similar sites where a programme id is already on file. When you click, that platform can record that the referral came from puertovallartapointer.com. If you book, they pay a commission from their own margin. Cookies those companies set are described in the privacy policy.
It does not change your price
The price is the same if you use a link on this site or go to the platform yourself. The commission comes from the platform, not from you.
Recommendations stay independent
I write about places based on location, the published Tripadvisor record and what is actually useful on a trip. A hotel does not get a better write-up because it pays a higher commission, and I do not take payment for sponsored placements. If that ever changes, it will be labelled on the page.
Always check before you book
Prices, availability and conditions in Puerto Vallarta change. Confirm the current details on the booking platform before you pay. Your booking is a contract with that provider. See the terms.
